Delaney Ross-Shannon is an associate attorney with Ross-Shannon & Proctor, P.C., where her practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance defense.

A Colorado native, Delaney was born and raised in Golden, Colorado. She earned her bachelor's degree in History from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, before returning home to attend the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

During law school, Delaney pursued a diverse range of experiences that strengthened her litigation, advocacy, and client-service skills. She interned with the Denver District Attorney's Office Cold Case Unit, where she observed complex criminal investigations and trial preparation. She also worked with a Denver-based law firm handling domestic relations matters, gaining valuable experience in client communication and case management.

Delaney further developed her courtroom advocacy skills through the University of Denver's Criminal Defense Clinic, where she represented clients under attorney supervision. She also served as an Associate Editor of the Denver Law Review, sharpening her legal research, writing, and analytical abilities. Following her graduation from law school and admission to the Colorado Bar, she joined Ross-Shannon & Proctor as an associate attorney.

Delaney's connection to the firm spans nearly a decade. Beginning at age sixteen, she worked in a variety of roles, including filing clerk, records coordinator, records reviewer, and law clerk. These experiences provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the litigation process and a strong foundation in insurance defense litigation. Today, she brings that firsthand knowledge to her representation of clients throughout Colorado.

Outside the office, Delaney enjoys skiing, golfing, watching true crime documentaries, and following Colorado's professional and collegiate sports teams.
