James Harvey was born and raised in South-Central Texas and received his B.A. in English from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas in 2011 and his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2021. For several years prior to law school, James worked as a legal administrative assistant in Commercial Finance and Civil Litigation. Although he was always interested in the legal field, it was not until he began to work at law firms that he decided that to be an attorney. 

 

After working in this capacity for 4 years, James entered the University of Oklahoma College of Law.  While in law school James worked at a personal injury firm, handling motor vehicle accident cases. This experience offered a wealth of opportunities and challenges that appealed to him and led to his desire to practice in this area.  After graduation, he was admitted to practice in Colorado and joined Ross-Shannon & Delaney as an Associate Attorney to work with insurance companies and help their insureds.

 

In his free time, James enjoys reading, music, traveling, jogging, hiking, golfing and spending time with friends and family.
